MOOSE HUNTS
Hunt moose with Adventure Destinations on the experience of a lifetime in the Boreal Forest of Northern Saskatchewan
TRAVEL
Fly into the Saskatoon International Airport (YXE) where you will be able to rent a vehicle. You can either stay the evening in Saskatoon or make it to Thompson’s Resort in Missinipe. Once on the road, you will drive north through Prince Albert and La Ronge. Please coordinate your travel plans with Adventure Destinations. Don’t like the sound of renting a vehicle or 5-hour drive? We can arrange a driver or a private charter flight from Saskatoon, please call to inquire.
*Overnights in Saskatoon are not included in package
HUNTING STRATEGY
All travel to and from hunting spots will be by boat. Depending on the intensity of the rut, we will be calling on land and lake edge listening for bull responses. This is also a great opportunity to spot and stalk while traveling from spot to spot.
-
Hunter to guide ratio is 1:1
-
Guides are experienced in the use of vocalization and electronic moose call in active moose rut areas
-
Constant contact with our guides gives our hunters the best possible opportunities
